I was Shawn's roommate from 2004-2010 and I remember a few tidbits from that era. Interesting to see that people still remember his work all these years later. Maybe all of the constant sexual harassment I was subjected to was worth it.

Only knew Shawn through a friend of mine that used to cosplay at conventions. Dude used to follow her at all of em, and one time she caught him spitting in her water bottle while she was at a booth. Real skeevy.

RRoD is the inspiration that launched every modern webcomic and its impact can never be understated, but Shawn Tuckley is an inhuman monster who deserves to stay in prison forever if a worse punishment cannot be devised. Truley it is our duty as a society to separate the art from the artist and maintain the integrity of the great and monumental work that is RRoD while carefully avoiding ever talking about the crimes of its author. Closest we'll get to the forums on here I suppose! Shawn truly was a visionary, and I'm glad to see his vision is still going strong all these years later! Thanks to the folks at the STA (Shawn Tuckley Archives) for their hard work in preserving all this stuff!

Except for him having a poster of Son of the Mask up in comic #32. That movie was fucking trash and Shawn should feel ashamed for allowing it to blight his comic, and his real life room if he owned that poster IRL
